Oxford University AhlulBayt Society

The Oxford University ABSoc is a student-run group dedicated to serving Allah (SWT) by creating opportunities for the intellectual and spiritual exploration of Islam according to the Shia tradition.

We aim to achieve this through the study of, and engagement with, the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and beloved Ahlulbayt (Peace be upon them).

We also aim to nurture a community for Shia students, and those of all beliefs and backgrounds, interested in the study of these teachings. We do this by organising events and discussions, serving both the religious and social needs of the community.
